The time of year has come when the Novelty Industry’s biggest movers and shakers head to Las Vegas for the International Lingerie Show (ILS Show). The expo which is held at the Rio Convention Center happens twice a year and retailers from all over the US as well as abroad gather to see the latest in Lingerie and Adult Novelties.
Primarily, the show floor is mainly filled with Adult Novelty Distributors as opposed to Manufacturers; however, manufacturers typically send out their reps to assist distributors at their booths to educate retailers on their newest and latest product lines.
Sportsheets has announced that a number of their sales reps and upper management will be in attendance at the show working at a number of their customer’s booths educating not only retailers, but also distributor’s sales reps on their latest product lines and how to effectively market and sell them.
“ILS has always been a great show for us,” claimed Emily Silva, Sales Specialist for Sportsheets International. “There is always foot traffic and a lot of customers in attendance checking out what’s new in the marketplace and what they can add to their stores. We are also very grateful for the relationships that we have with our distributors so it is very important for us to go out there and help ‘man’ their booths and show them that they have our support. We aren’t a company that just ships them product and says good luck. We try our best to assist them in marketing and merchandising and that’s why Sportsheets has grown every year since we first launched 22 years ago.”
“With the huge buzz from the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, we have seen a big surge in sales throughout the last couple of months,” added Sportsheets Executive Administrator and Marketing Joanne B. Queenin. “Even a month after the movie release we are still seeing large volumes of sales on our entry-level to advanced products and we are anticipating the sales to only grow as the movie moves out of theaters and onto other media platforms like online streaming devices and pay per view. We are very excited to see how the success of the movie will play out at ILS.”
The ILS Show will take place at the RIO Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas March 30th – April 1st. For more information on Sportsheets, please visit their website by clicking here.
